Surviving World War 1 Veterans
World War 1 took place from July 28, 1914 to November 11, 1918, ending over 90 years ago. This makes the amount of living WW1 veterans very few and far in between. On July 25, 2009, the last surviving British veteran Harry Patch died at age 111.
